I want to rip & convert two DVD's somebody gave me. Originally, they were 1 double-layer DVD, however somebody copied them to 2 single-layer DVD's: the first contains chapters 1-7 and the next contains chapters 8-13. To make the menu on the 2nd DVD work, the first 7 chapters are still there, but they were put to 0 length. This means that the DVD Menu is still working, and you can use the chapter navigation in the DVD menu on your DVD player to access chapters 8-13 directly.
However, Handbrake 0.9.1 (2007100800) chokes on the 2nd DVD (th 1st one went just fine), I assume because the 1st chapters it encounters on the DVD have zero length. Offcourse, it should not choke (and report itself ready after a few seconds) but just convert non-empty chapters 8-13.
I am running MacOSX 10.5.1 Leopard with latest versions of all relevant (sub)systems like QuickTime installed.

Daan, thanks for reporting this!
Just wondering, though, what file format were you using?
If you were using mp4, could do a test for me with mkv or vice-versa?
