[Invalid] scan: removing audio 0x1 because no bitrate found

Post by Michael_ » Mon Apr 24, 2017 8:29 pm

Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible:
The FHD video of my Olympus E-M10 camera is converted without audio because:
scan: removing audio 0x1 because no bitrate found

What are the steps to reproduce this problem:
Convert the video to Android/1080p30 -> no audio is listed and there is no audio in the converted file.

Re: scan: removing audio 0x1 because no bitrate found

Ok, I also tested with the Windows Version of Handbrake.
There, it works. HB gui lists the audio track and the converted file has audio.

So, what lib or part of HB does this scan for audio? How can it be different to the Linux version?

Code: Select all

Re: scan: removing audio 0x1 because no bitrate found

Post by s55 » Thu Apr 27, 2017 8:40 pm

https://handbrake.fr/docs/en/1.0.0/get- ... brake.html

Note that the Packman builds are on our broken 3rd party builds list.

You'll need to compile from source on OpenSource as there are no official packages.
While we don't have opensuse specific instructions, you can probably figure out the dependencies from https://handbrake.fr/docs/en/1.0.0/deve ... linux.html

Thank you. I didn't know about this list.
Then I have to try compiling HB.

Cheers,
Michael
