Hi,

I just installed Hand Brake for the first time. Version 1.0.1 from the official site.

Tried uploading a 24MB file in .Avi format, using the "Open a single video file" button.
--> program immediately freezes and crashes every time "Handbrake has stopped working".

My system:
Dell XPS 9000, core i7, Nvidia GT graphics card, Windows 7 64-bit

Error log:

Problem persists. As soon as I click on "Open a single video file", the prog crashes.

Un-usable.

Did you try the nightly build, which fixes a number of issues with certain .AVI and .MOV files, as reported in other threads like this on the forum?
