[Fixed] BUG in HB 1.0.1 for Mac: Preference settings

Post by iamjohngalt »

Please describe the problem in as much detail as possible:
In Preferences/General tab, under 'When Done...", checking the 'Send file to' box then Browsing to a folder, will not allow selection of a destination folder, but only a file within a folder. Obviously, you cannot save an output file to another file. i.e. 'Open' only displays once a file is selected, not a folder. It is impossible, for example, to save 'Downloads' as the destination folder.

What are the steps to reproduce this problem:
Extant design issue

What version of HandBrake you are running:
v1.0.1, and running the daily build 20161229 - 212051-56e26f4 does not fix the problem

What operating system and version and you running:
MacOS Sierra 10.12.2

If there was any exception or error displayed, please copy it and paste it here:
No

Please include the scan or encode log:
N/A. Not associated with a coding process

Code: Select all

Paste your log here between the code brackets, or use a pastebin website.

"Send file to" send the file to an application, not to a folder, so it works as intended. The only bug I see is that it let you select non applications too.

You can change the encode destination in the main window.
