Aspect Ration & Resize problems

Post by zzmadd »

Hi,

I am incurring in a problem with Mediafork:
I set the aspect ratio "NOT TO BE" AUTOMATIC" and correct the "640x496" I get from the automatic to "640x480" to play it on the ipod.
Unluckily the output i get from Mediafork is still "640x496"
Sometimes by adjusting the size down to example 640x352 and then clicking ok (with Automatic aspect ration se to "ON") and then opening again the picture settings window I notice the size went back up to example 656x352 ..
al by itself .. such things causes errors on the ipod .. ..
This last one used to happen with Handbrake itself too, but I was able to get beyond it by switching automatic aspect ratio to "OFF" ..
Now it seems to be broken ..

Same problem here, I'm using the cli interface on linux using x264b30 codec. I set the output to be 640x480 but what I get is 640x496 and consequently the video won't play on the ipod

This is a known bug in beta 1 that has been corrected in svn and will be fixed in beta 2 (no release date set at this time).

This is fixed in the SVN repository since revision 373. It will work properly in the next beta release.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Locking the thread now.
