The bottom line is: I want the features.
A lot of people want the features -- Bug Free.
And that includes Deaf/Hard-Of-Hearing people who want to receive Closed Captions
in HD video streams.
The only established group opposed to Closed Captions is the Cable industry and
their MPAA friends who, for example, are blocking inclusion of Closed Captions
in the HD standards such as Component Video and HDMI.

And the main reason for that is that they see the appearance of Closed Captions text
in the PC-TV platform as a business threat.
And these guys are reaching out to anyone they can find to block Closed Captions
from the desktop.
It is noticeable that when ATSC content is batch converted, no Closed Captions
are passed through.

I started this thread 14 months ago.
How long do you think it should take to fix a showstopper Bug like this one ?
When this Hang occurs, it stops every subsequent conversion scheduled in the pipeline.
That should make this Bug, Top Priority.
At least 14 months to fix a single showstopper Bug ?
