Windows/Linux svn3490 freezes at 99.98%

Post by cms42 »

I have tested this with two DVD's it will encode almost all the titles on the disk, but there is one on each disk that it will freeze on after it hits 99.98% and it says 300FPS. After this point I have to cancel the encode and I am left with a non-playable video file. I tested this in both the Windows GUI on Windows 7 X64 and the Linux GUI on Ubuntu 10.04 x64 with the same results. To make sure it wasn't a problem with the DVD files I ran the encode with 0.9.4 and it successfully completed and was playable. The only problem is that 0.9.4 does not allow for bitmap subtitles to be encoded in H.264 m4v's without the "burned in" option selected.

3492 is an x264 bump https://trac.handbrake.fr/changeset/3492 dunno that it would solve the issue.
