Whether or not the problem is reproducible - happens every time with a variety of disks.
I have 3 DVD drives connected to a PC running win XP SP3. PC is an early Core 2 Quad extreme.
There is a DVD-R in each drive, enqueued to rip. Each DVD has a single title.
Start the process using the start button on the main GUI.
Encoding runs to a successful conclusion but neither handbrake nor the PC shut down. This has happened with several sets of 3 disks.
I have not tried it with the encode button on the queue GUI - I'll give that a go when I get the chance and post the results.
This is the log of the last of one set of three disks. I can't see how to append a file I've shortened it somewhat.
The final line "HandBrake has exited." is a lie!
Please let me know if I can supply anything else useful.

For what it is worth I have now tried this using the Encode button on the queue list dialog and I get the same result.
