[Not Bug] No subtitle selection possible when source is MKV

Post by pchristoph »

I am using WinXP SP2 & HB 0.9.3 to convert movies I rip to my HD first. Since sometimes I am having issues with the audio track being completely unsynched with the video (should post another for this issue) I am extracting those movies with MakeMKV including all subtitles I want to use.
Playing these MKVs file in VLC allows me to select the subtiltes but I cannot select them in HB when I want to convert the MKV file to AVI (or something else). According to the Scan Log the subs seem to be identified but all I get in the subtitle selection is None and Autoselect.
The movie in question is Transporter 3 but I am having the same result with a ton of other movies as well.

Code: Select all

Thanks, I did not know there was a difference (technically).

Any prospects for the support in the near future?

No plans to do so at the moment. Most of the code is in place though, just needs a little bit of plumbing from stream.c to grab the subs and feed the vobsub decoder.
