Unable to Encode

Good evening,

I have followed the settings of the guide posted on this site, and when i click "Encode Video", The little box pops up telling me that it will now encode the video. I press OK, but nothing happens.

Any suggestions?

I have this same exact problem. What actually happends is that the encoder program opens and closes very fast, w/o notice - as if it crashes immediatly.

Windows XP SP2
Optiarc DVD-RW
Led Zeppelin - how the west was won.

i've tried many settings, all which fail.
