After Encoding, video is completely messed up

Post by needsomehelp »

I put two movies onto my computer, Sandlot & Sandlot 2. After this I put both of these files through Handbrake using iPod Low-Rez and changed no other settings besides where the file was to be put. The result was not as I expected, after a few hours of encoding the finished product was the movie...but it was more like a kalidascope. You could see a little of the movie but 90% of it was covered up by tons of random pixels and it seemed to freeze every few seconds. What did I do wrong?

System: Windows Vista
Hard Drive: 200 GB
Memory: 2 GB
Processor: Intel Pentium dual-core processor T2310
HANDBRAKE:
Version: 0.9.1
GUI Build: 2.4.1

Here's a screenshot if it works:

And yes, that is the '20th century Fox' intro if you're wondering

You need to rip with something like AnyDVD first. What you're seeing is CSS encryption and/or Macrovision at work.
