Does "Language" Option Need To Be Changed For Burned-In Subtitles?

Post by Born2Ride4Life »

Hello,

I have been bulk adding burned-in subtitles through Handbrake. My question is, do I need to actually change the "language" drop down to the correct language that corresponds to the subtitle? It will save me a ton of time (hundreds/thousand videos) if I don't have to manually select for each one and just keep it as the preset of English. I wasn't sure if it formats the different languages differently, or it is not relevant for what I am attempting?

Thanks.

No, the language option is not used or needed when burning in.
