Description of problem or question:
When loading an mp4 in 1080p, it don't automatically convert it to 720
Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):
I created an own preset by selecting "very fast 720p30
then I changed the subtitle function, and then I saved it as 720p.
That was all .
but when I'm loading an 1080p movie, it don't automatically change the resolution to 720p, (which is does if I have selected the Very fast 720p30 preset.
so why doesn't it change the resolution if my preset is the same as Very fast 720p30 preset. (except subtitles)

Re: own preset not storing "720p" setting
When you save a new preset, did you tell it to include the size limitations? If not, that was not made part of the new preset.
Generally, presets won't affect the resolution of the result. The "factory" presets with a resolution limit contain information that is ONLY included if you tell handbrake to include them when you create the new preset.
