why is height 708. i didn't change anything. all i did was choosing a preset and checking every tab and saw this

maybe this is normal res of source ? idk but it says source is 720p. mediainfo also says it's 720p

Your source is 720p.

Handbrake is cropping 12 pixels from the top, if you don’t want to crop set the values to 0.

but y is it cropping ? maybe it's unnecessary black bars ? then it's good to leave it that way right ?

Yes, it has detected black bars. You will have to look at your video to determine if this is the correct behaviour.

i think it's a wrong black bar detection by handbrake. i took a snapshot of mostly white frame using vlc and i didn't see any black bars. i hope it's a right way to check
