Are you having specific issues with HB files? Or is windows just broken for you after this patch?

Yes, and Yes.
But only seeking broader information, as the problem is fixed here after uninstalling the update.
Care to share your experience with KB5001330?

Hey, just trying to help.

You say “ does it play, rename, or delete normally?”

For me yes it all performs normally.

But what are YOU expecting and experiencing? Do files not open at all or just take a long time to open, if a delay how long, what player are you using?

Thank you.
You say “ does it play, rename, or delete normally?”
That's a fairly good summary of the issues I was having. Thanks.

Like I said, what player are you using and how long does it take to open? How long does it take to rename or delete?

The problem was fixed before I posted, so your troubleshooting expertise is not needed this time; thanks so much for your concern. Anyone else having issues?
