Extracting subtitles from wtv files created from dvbt UK broadcast

Post by jpcoh1 »

Description of problem or question:I am a brand new user of Handbrake trying to convert a wtv file from WMC into a generally acceptable file format. The wtv file has subtitles available when played with WMC. I have tried the various options under the subtitles tab in Handbrake, but cannot get the subtitles to appear in the ouptut file. The big question for me is whether Handbrake can achieve this objective, and, if so, how should I set it up.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):1.0.7

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):Windows 7

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Code: Select all

At this stage, my question is about my ignorance rather than any problem with Handbrake

I have posted two logs to pastebin as you recommend. The page reference appears to be https://pastebin.com/h47zAnM1.
I have not used this service before, so I hope it has worked OK. I could always embed the full text in this message, but I get the impression that this is inappropriate
