converting youtube videos to mp3 audio

Description of problem or question:

I'm very green at this game, and although it is probably easy, how do I convert a youtube video to an mp3 please? My main difficulty is lifting the video from youtube and making it a file on my laptop. Thanks in advance!

for downloading mp4 video from youtube, try 4kvideodownloader.
