How to use custom/third-party/my-own-built x264/x265 with Handbrake? is it possible (atleast with compiling HB source)? if yes, please advise on how to integrate it. Thank you!

Not with the compiled version. And building it yourself, you'll have to modify how handbrake works to use an external library.
