Hello:
the program doesn't have an issue, I haven't supplied a log as there is not an issue...
I wanted to know with regards to the NL-means Denoise feature ..what are the default syntax codes for both light & medium?..I want to make a custom entry that would be in between those two, a 1080p movie I am working on requires some *denoise*, the light entry is not strong enough to remove all of the noise, but medium is a bit too aggressive, it also begins to visually soften the video.
when one opens Denoise *custom* ..the box is empty, one has to manually enter the syntax to get the desired effect one is looking for. I do not know what to enter as a syntax.
thx very much

Re: Custom entries for Denoise & Sharpen feature
The thread NLMEANS denoise filter....seeing as it is long closed can one open another thread on the topic?
Still a little unclear where applying the custom syntax is concerned, to apply a setting that will reduce the seeable noise/grain does one apply only *strength* or does one also need to adjust range & framecount as well?

I don't see why this topic couldn't be used for discussion... Although I have no powers here to bless it as such. And a moderator should move it to "General" in that case.
