Compression Setting for Youtube

Post by HadEm »

Description of problem or question:
Hello everyone, my apologies if this is a double post (please refer me if this question has been answered). I've recorder a 3h screen capture, with Radeon software, to record a video of Milkdrop.

The file is 80gb, and was recorded with the following settings: 1440P, 60fps, HEVC, 60Mbp/s.

I would like to be able to post it on YouTube at 1080p.

Are there recommended setting I can use when compressing the file, for it to show up as HQ/HD for other people to view?

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

My current settings are Vimeo/YouTube 1080p60, H.264x 60FPS, 20RF.

Thank you all for the help.

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

Currently using - 1.3.2 (2020050300)

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

Running Win10 18363.778, Ryzen 7 2700X, and Radeon RX5700.
