Description of problem or question:
I've tried encoding with a MKV custom setup trying to keep the same audio and video codec, as well as one of the default setups, fast 1080p. The program would then crash and close itself after 5-10 seconds. I've tried to encode many times and get the same results.

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):
Windows 10 Education Version 1909 OS build 18383.815 (Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.18363.0 according to log file)
