So I ripped my Blu-ray to my computer and I ripped the subtitles into the the file.. but now I'm going to go and use handbrake to reduce file size..
So how I do I perseve those soft subtitles already in the file I am going to reduce.. right now I'm having the problem where it's always burning in the subtitles on top of video...how do I get it where I can just turn on and off subtitles manually.....
FYI reducing file size for Plex

Re: Subtitles
Make the output file type MKV. You can't put "soft" Bluray subtitles in an MP4.
If your player doesn't support MKV files, you'll have to upgrade your player, or live with burned-in subtitles.
