Handbrake quits if 'Cancel' is requested during Source load/analysis

Post by ITgreybeard »

Description of problem or question:

Handbrake quits if a cancellation is chosen during the load/analysis of a source, even if a queue is present and/or encode is underway.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

1. Run Handbrake.
2. Make a Source Selection.
3. Cancel the Source Selection during the "Please wait" phase of the source analysis.
4. Watch Handbrake quit.

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0):

1.2.2 (2019022300)

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update):

Windows 10-64 Pro (totally current)

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

Code: Select all

To my knowledge, this is not applicable, as no encode has been started nor full source analysis accomplished.

Yeah, I’ve noticed this behavior, you should post it on git.
