No Destination button

Post by billman »

Description of problem or question:the version of HB i installed (the latest) does not have a destination button. It has a "Save As" line at the bottom that will not choose the folder I browse to, I have to copy/paste the folder path manually or copy/paste a file mane and also append .mp4 to the file name or it does bot save as a file with an extension, it work ok if I add the .mp4 extension, but this is 2019, that should be automatic, like in the option where it says it will save as mp4 automatically. what a waste of time.

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

HandBrake version (e.g., 1.0.0): 1.2.2 (2019022300)

Operating system and version (e.g., Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, macOS 10.13 High Sierra, Windows 10 Creators Update): Windows 10

HandBrake Activity Log ***required*** (see How-to get an activity log)

It looks like something must be wrong with your copy of HandBrake. On my system, the output path/name (shown to the right of 'Save As' - like you mentioned) can be changed by clicking the 'Browse' button. Also, if I type, 'TEST' for example, it automatically adds the '.mp4' extension, and everything works as expected.
