windows (32bit) svn binary

Post by daman123x »

can anyone shoot me a Win32 binary (zip of gui, cli and dll) of the svn build? i compiled it on a mac but need to run my batches on windows box and cant seem to get it to work... been working on this for 12+ hours... i REALLY think it's vista, but it's all i've got

(using gcc 4.1.2, current svn, current cygwin, jam 2.5)
after fixing a .net 3.5 error, cygwin crashing out at 100% proc, after fixing that, getting file missing errors, fixing that getting more errors.

i would really appreciate it!

um, what is "current svn" ? depends which rev number you built. As an example, there were four new commits just yesterday and already one today. Current svn is a moving target.

1102 uses a much older CLI. The GUI is build 1102 but the CLI exe packaged with it may go back a few hundred builds. I generally don't keep the CLI package up to date in my pre-release files because its somewhat unimportant.

ah crap i thought the cli was the heart of the whole thing - would you happen to know if 1102 includes Ed's sound dropout fix cause that's the issue i was trying to deal with

thx again

It is the heart, The dev builds are for GUI testing, not CLI testing as that is already covered (which is why I generally don't keep it up to date as it's a flippin pain)

I think eddy's work was 1035 on audio so it may have been build after that but I'm not 100% sure.

alright tested on many videos.
this issue IS indeed resolved in 1102 (eddyg changed on 10/23, 1102 CLI is from 10/30)

however, with this cli a new chapter freezing issue has popped up here:
