Or Drop A File or Folder Here

Description of problem or question:
When starting the program I get the box that states "Or Drop A File Or Folder Here". Will not accept anything. The only way to enter is use Source Selection" and then enter the file. Also when I have a file entered and want to change to another I have to go all the way back to the screen with the large box. Two days ago I had no problems then I decided to try the 1.2.1 that's floating around and decided to delete the 1.2.0 I was using and start afresh, that's when the crap started, wiped out 1.2.1 and reinstalled 1.2.0 and that does not work now either. Maybe that's the way it should work but it was so much easier when you could just drop a file in the program and you were all set.
I may have done wrong with the activity log, I wasn't sure. The problem might just be a button or check mark I didn't make.
Many thanks for reading

Forgot to mention that no matter what window of the Handbrake program is open as soon as I attempt to drag a file and touch the end of the program the curser becomes a NO/forbidden sign. ie. circle with a diagonal line. The only way to enter another file is to go all the way back to the start page.

Sounds like you've got another app running that's interfering with the desktop in some way. Have a look for any game capture, screen capture / system motioning apps or anything in the task tray that's not needed.

The functionality hasn't changed so it should work fine whenever you suss out the app.

Please do let us know as it may be useful to other users.

Looked into the tray and Task manager, nothing running that hadn't been running before the screwup. However I did find if I installed on a thumb/flash drive it worked perfectly. One better I then installed the program on drive D: that too worked perfectly which leads me to other questions as why it should work on D: but not C: still the same Windows system?
