converting DVD, but only one title appears instead of more

Description of problem or question:
Hi,
I am attempting to convert some DVD files. When I
insert a dvd I am told that there is only one "title" when I know there are at least five different "titles" or shows. So, when conversion happens I get one long program containing several shows instead of several programs. How do I deal with this.
I already have successfully converted appropriately. Thanks.
