Read Error Causing Problems

Post by stev35i » Thu Dec 27, 2018 5:31 pm

Description of problem or question:
I get the following error in the log file:

libdvdnav: demux error! 00 00 00 (should be 0x000001)
dvdnav: Read Error, Expected NAV packet but none found.
[12:02:33] Warning: Could not read data for preview 6, skipped

I tried disabling dvdnav and instead using dvdread and get the following errors:

[12:18:53] dvd: vobu read error blk 2105496 - skipping to next blk incr 10
[12:18:53] dvd: vobu read error blk 2105506 - skipping to next blk incr 20
[12:18:53] dvd: vobu read error blk 2105526 - skipping to next blk incr 30
[12:18:53] dvd: vobu read error blk 2105556 - skipping to next blk incr 40
[12:18:53] dvd: vobu read error blk 2105596 - skipping to next blk incr 50
[12:18:53] dvd: vobu read error blk 2105646 - skipping to next blk incr 60
[12:18:53] dvd: vobu read error blk 2105706 - skipping to next blk incr 70
etc.....

with the following message at the end:

[12:19:30] Warning: Could not read data for preview 6, skipped
[12:19:30] scan: 5 previews, 720x480, 29.970 fps, autocrop = 0/0/10/0, aspect 4:3, PAR 8:9
[12:19:30] Title is likely interlaced or telecined (2 out of 5 previews). You should do something about that.

Any ideas as to why this is happening??

Steps to reproduce the problem (If Applicable):

1.2.0

HB doesn't support commercial DVDs. Rip with something for that purpose, like MakeMKV, then use HB if you require further processing.
