THE PROGRAM DOES NOT START

I just installed Handbrake. If I try to run it I get a messagge saying that an error has occurred and the program will be closed. I tried to reinstall twice, but no luck. I have windows XP service pack2, 1 gig RAM, plenty of hard disk and run easily any program that I install. can anyone help?

Why is this in the Mac forum?

I've never seen/installed the Windows version, but I'll throw out an off the wall idea: do you have the required .net package installed?

Microsoft .NET Framework 2.

Good chance you have a corrupted install. I suggest reinstalling that, failing that it's difficult to say.

Great, from what I've read that is typically the main issue with HandBrake Windows install/startup.
