I would appreciate any hints as to how I should troubleshoot. I have tried basic uninstall and clean-up strategies, such as deleting the contents of the temp folder, restarting, etc. I do not have any indications of faulty memory on the machine. HandBrake 1.0.7 (2017040900) - 64bit, previously installed, last worked 29-03-2018.

After installing Handbrake 1.1.0.0 [HandBrake-1.1.0-x86_64-Win_GUI.exe], Handbrake opens with a Handbrake error dialog titled, An Unknown Error has occurred.

Double-click on the desktop icon to start program.
