Generating A Queue In HandBrakeCLI?

Post by wbyrum »

I generated a queue in HandBrakeCLI using the following command:

HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\A FEW DAYS IN SEPTEMBER" -o "C:\DVD Temp\A Few Days In September.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\License To Wed" -o "C:\DVD Temp\License To Wed.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\Meet The Robinsons" -o "C:\DVD Temp\Meet The Robinsons.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\Neverwas" -o "C:\DVD Temp\Neverwas.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\Notes On A Scandal" -o "C:\DVD Temp\Notes On A Scandal.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\Secret Window" -o "C:\DVD Temp\Secret Window.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\Spiderman 3" -o "C:\DVD Temp\Spiderman 3.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas" -o "C:\DVD Temp\Suzanne's Diary For Nicholas.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\The Big Chill" -o "C:\DVD Temp\The Big Chill.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\The Invisible" -o "C:\DVD Temp\The Invisible.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v ; HandBrakeCLI -i "D:\DVD Temp\The Mesmerist" -o "C:\DVD Temp\The Mesmerist.m4v" -e x264 -E faac --crop 0:0:0:0 -p -m -b 2500 -x bframes=0:ref=1:subme=5:me=umh:no-fast-pskip=1:trellis=2 -B 160 -R 48 -v

When I run this command, HandBrakeCLI starts with the last item in the queue (The Mesmerist) and then terminates.

I understood from the documentation that a semicolon could be used to create a queue in HandBrakeCLI.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks in advance for any help or input.

";" is a Linux / Unix thing.

try && instead of ;

If that works, let me know and I'll add a note on the wiki
