How To Rotate A .mov Video

Hello! I am harored and this is my first post in your forum. I've done the best I can (below) to hopefully provide you with enough information for a helper to assist me!

I have a .mov video which is sideways and I would love to rotate it. I found your program from a YouTube rotate tutorial however the instructions were not a success for me.

I tried using the HB Filter tab and selected rotate 90 degrees and it did not work. I also did a search within the your forum, 4 topics were listed, however I did not discover a direct solution for my problem. A link that was provided in one post no longer works:

The rotate option is not available in the Graphical User Interface for HandBrake. You must use the Command Line Interface for HandBrake to use rotate. Instructions for using the CLI are available at https://trac.handbrake.fr/wiki/CLIGuide
