Doesn't support CINEPAK video format. Any idea how to convert?

Post by SaiDucc »

Hi I'm looking to convert some old Cinepak files (.CPK). Now it plays fine on my MPC-HC Media player, but I downloaded this Handbrake and it doesn't even recognize the format....any ideas? CPK is a type of AVI so I'm a but surprised as to why this app won't support it? :?:

HandBrake should be able to open Cinepak in AVI. Are you able to provide a small sample that reproduces the issue?

But, does handbrake list .cpk as a file type to look at? It might open it as an AVI if the file extension was .avi ...

It certainly does, as a CVID .CPK even:
