Encoding freezes at 7.99% every time.

Trying to convert to constant frame rate, tried multiple times with different settings and tried vidcoder, both stop encoding at 7.99%

Handbrake 1.0.7 and tried previous versions too, same result. Windows 10.

No error displayed.

Is it just this file or any that freeze?

Does the whole computer freeze or just HB?

Only that file.

Neither 'freezes' completely, just won't go above 7.99% - have tried other programs and they can all encode the file fine but none have the option to change to constant frame rate for Premiere Pro editing.

IN all likely hood, there is an error in the file that's tripping us up that other apps can handle. Are you able to share a sample that reproduces?

The file is over 2 hours long so can't really share? I'm happy to pm someone the file through google drive if anyone wants to try it on their machine.

Tried the nightly build, instead of stopping at 7.99% it just said it was done but the finished file was only 10 minutes long.

I've tried so many different programs and they all suck compared to Handbrake and none of them seem to be able to change to constant frame rate which is the one thing I need so I can edit in Premiere. Is there a program I've missed that has that capability?

The audio error didn't cause it to terminate. The reader finished "normally". I.e. the reader thinks it got an EOF. My guess is the audio error is a symptom of a corrupted file that is also causing the demuxer to just give up at the same point.
