Encoding ends quickly

Please detail your question or problem in as much detail as possible:
I have used previous versions of Handbrake for years but I upgraded and now I start encoding but it "finishes" after a few seconds
Tell us about your environment. What version of HandBrake? What version of Windows are you running. etc.
I am using Handbrake 1.0.7. My source is a DVD decrypted using AnyDVD on a PC running Windows 10.

Try ripping with makemkv first see if that helps.
