Is there a way to output a file with a height greater than 1080 pixels?
I have videos that are formatted as 1080x1920 for vertical screens with a specialty player.
When I try to set the width and height manually, even with turning off "keep aspect ratio" and setting custom cropping the maximum I can get is 1080x1080 or something that's proportional to 1080x1920 (like 608x1080)
I read something about -height and -width flags, but I'm not sure how to use them (in extra options?). Also will that actually encode at 1080x1920 or simply upscale something like 608x1080 to 1080x1920?

Re: How to set height above 1080
That's probably a limitation of the preset you're using. Try saving a custom preset and entering 1080 by 1920 as the resolution limits, instead of 1920x1080.

Worked like a charm, I've been using handbrake for years and never knew you could do that... *facepalm*
Thanks!
