Change FPS

Hello
I just discovered Handbrake
I scanned my old Super 8 movies and got an MP4 file
The problem is that the original Super 8 were recorded at 24 frames per second and it seems that the scanner scans them at 30 frames per second
The result is a little bit speedy (it's very visible on sequences where I filmed jugglers friends !)
I understood that this could be solved with Handbrake - I opened the "Video" tab and set the Framerate (FPS) field at 24
As there are 2 boxes that can be checked ("Constant framerate" and "Peak framerate"), I did 2 tests with these different values checked

But it seems the resulting files are the same as the riginal file !
Did i forget something or misundrestood ?

I ran a new test and found the log -a file named activity_logNNNN.txt
Is that the correct file ?
How can I "send" it with my post ?
Should I copy it in my post (it seems o be a long file) or "attach" it to the post as a file ?
I'm sorry to ask such trivial questions, but i's the first time I se this forum

HandBrake can't change the speed of your video. You have to use another program.
