Encoding Stops After First File
I have 22 AVI files, and all of them are at least 3GB in size. I need to encode all of these to MP4 so they aren't as large.
Handbrake was working fine until last night and today.
I am running Windows 10, with the latest Handbrake 1.0.7.
There was no error or exception, Windows had just told me, "Handbrake has stopped working."
HandBrake 1.0.7 (2017040900) - 64bit
OS: Microsoft Windows NT 10.0.14393.0 - 64bit

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
Does it crash as soon as you open it? Did you update anything last night e.g. Windows or Anti-virus? Is there anything in the Windows log?
You could try a nightly build:

Do you have a log for the completed encode.

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
Nothing happens. There is no log for it when it completes. I guess it crashes too quickly.

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
Are you able to open one of your AVI files?

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
Yes, I am able to open these files. AVI's seem the be the only file format not encoding. I can encode MP4s, and such, but not AVIs.

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
Do you have automatic naming of files enabled? If not, there are cases where the encode of the queue will run, but every output will be the same file.
Don't ask me how I know this....

And then when you click encode what happens?
We need to see the log from when HB crashes.

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
HB doesn't have a log when it crashes. It just said "Handbrake has stopped working, and I cannot access the log.

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
auto-rename will not add files to the queue if they already exist on it, so it's irrelevant.

Re: Encoding Stops After First File
What do you mean by cannot access the log?
Can you open and convert the second file by itself?
