x265 2.4: 10bit library?

Post by jd17 »

Please detail your question or problem in as much detail as possible:
x265 v2.4 was released almost two months ago, could you upload the according library for main10 encoding?
http://x265.readthedocs.io/en/default/releasenotes.html

Especially the changes to the lambda tables apparently bring a significant advantage over 2.3.

I tried using the libx265_main10.dll from here:
https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php? ... ost1810114
...but Handbrake crashes for both GCC 6.3.0 and GCC 7.1.0 - I assume those are not compatible?

Tell us about your environment. What version of HandBrake? What version of Windows are you running. etc.
Handbrake 1.0.7 or nightly, Windows 10 x64.

Someone from doom9 linked this to me:

:)

The VS 2017 library seems to work great, only "x265 [info]" logging is missing.
Maybe this helps someone else...
