Hello I'm having trouble getting Handbrake to boot on my new PC.
I've recently updated from MacOS to a Windows 10 PC. I'm running a 6700K on a Gigabyte board,with a GTX 980ti.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled about 3 times now, even getting a dedicated uninstaller to make sure it's a clean reinstall, but it still won't open. I get the "thinking" wheel, but no window hows up, and it won't appear on the task manager.
Is there something I'm missing about Windows 10 apps? Can anyone help?

Re: Handbrake won't open on Windows 10
Windows 10 x64 Creators Update works fine with 1.0.7 x64. Probably not a problem with Handbrake, but something else on your computer.

Rivatuner? Disable that [Censored].
Re: Handbrake won't open on Windows 10
Oh my god, that was it. I run the .net cleanup utility, tried to reinstall .net but it won't let me because it's already installer, I've reinstalled HB several times and deleted the profile folder... and it was Rivatunner all along. :/
Why is Rivatunner screwing with Handbrake? I kind of need it for MSI Afterburner.
Re: Handbrake won't open on Windows 10
Breaks something related to the GPU detection or initialization.
Re: Handbrake won't open on Windows 10
You can add an exception to Rivatuner for handbrake; several people have reported that as making it work.
But the real problem seems to be an interaction between Rivatuner and the "Creator" windows update.
