Handbrake does not want to open

Please detail your question or problem in as much detail as possible: after a while of not using handbrake i tried opening it and nothing happend it creates a log without any data in it and nothing more. i've tried re-installing it 2 times while also cleaning out the registry files it creates but to no luck.

Tell us about your environment. What version of HandBrake? What version of Windows are you running. etc.

latest handbrake: HandBrake-1.0.7-x86_64-Win_GUI.exe

running Win10 x64 pro

logs were created but without any data at all

For me it turned out to be RivaTuner. Adding an exception for Handbrake seems to work.
