Windows Vista - which version should I download?

Post by Grizzly »

Please detail your question or problem in as much detail as possible: I run windows vista on my laptop, which version of handbrake should i download? I have a version I downloaded in 2008 but when I try to access it, it hangs on "loading preferences" so I am looking to replace

Tell us about your environment. What version of HandBrake? What version of Windows are you running. etc. VISTA

If there was any exception or error displayed, please copy it and paste it here: No error seen - Handbrake hangs on loading

Please include the scan or encode log:

Code: Select all

Paste a log of the scan or encode between these code brackets, or use a pastebin website and provide us with the URL it gives you.
Logs are required for all support requests.

1.0 should in theory work, but ofc, we don't support running HandBrake on an outdated OS. In practice, I'm not aware of any breakage but HandBrake has never been formally tested on Vista. If not, 0.10.5 had a small number of vista users.
