I seem to be unable to encode to 2-pass x265. 1-pass works perfectly, but obviously the quality isnt exactly good throughout the video, 2-pass would obviously more suited. Is this a limitation in Handbrake/the library being used, or is it down to the fact that x265 is so new and my GPU doesnt support encoding and CPU needs to kick in? The first pass runs through fine, but when it hits the 2nd pass, it just stops and claims is finished, when it clearly isnt (output file is 0KB). Is there a workaround?
Specs
Handbrake 10.5 (also tried Nightly 20170723215700-f77bf99-master [2016072401] - 64-bit)
Windows 10
NVidia GTX 780
32GB RAM
Intel Core I7 4820K
More than happy to provide log if needed, but initially just wondering if this is a general issue or something local (I'd expect many would have raised this if it's a general issue.
x265 2-Pass Encoing not working (1-pass OK though)

Re: x265 2-Pass Encoing not working (1-pass OK though)
So....I've downloaded the latest nightly build and oddly it worked, even in two-pass encoding mode.
I'm doing a bit more testing now though, as my encode last night (which worked) was set had a defined output FPS (inherited from the H.265 MKV 576p25 preset), whereas i'd usually prefer setting FPR to "Same As Source".
I'm trying this option now, in an attempt to determine if this is the case of my problems.
I'll report results and logs once i have more info

That's not a preset from HB, you made it or got it somewhere else.
