hi all, my first post, so be gentle please
I am using the latest Handbrake with Win 7 O/S. I import an .mkv video file and a .srt subtitle file, and run them. The only problem is, in the resulting .mp4 file, the font of the subtitle is far too small.
Is there any way of enlarging this subtitle font?
regards,
Jill

Re: Enlarging subtitle font possible?
Hello, have posted the log file and a screen print of the subtitle at:

Re: Enlarging subtitle font possible?
Handbrake itself does not have a mechanism for setting the screen font size "globally"; it relies on the information in the subtitle file.

For those that are hard of hearing?Woodstock wrote:Question: Why does a UK English film require an English subtitle file?
For environments where audio volume could be a problem? (waiting rooms/restaurants etc.)
Re: Enlarging subtitle font possible?
Hi Woodstock, thanks for your response. With regards your question, yes, I am hearing impaired, and cannot watch a movie without English subtitles. The American movie actors are particularly difficult to understand, even with lip reading
Re: Enlarging subtitle font possible?
Yes, it may be possible.
Can't be specific as to how without the requisite logs.
