x265 8, 10 and 12bit refresh

Post by hubocan »

There is a nice post with x265 10 bit and 12 bit libraries which could be used with the nightly builds. These days x265 gets a several improvements (1.9+167 and later) in quality, grain handling and even the newest no-recursion-skip helps to fight the ghosting problem. What about refreshing those libraries, so we can profit from those improvements in HandBreak?

We only update x265 when they do releases. And sometimes even that is delayed.

When the x265 developers think they have a worthy set up updates, they'll do a new release.
