Hey guys, here's the details...
Win XP SP2
Handbrake 2.4 and Dvd43
I'm old school so I convert to .avi using xvid and pro logic II using ac3. This works well for me and plays on my PC as well as my DVD player. I do 2 passes at 85% constant quality and the results look as good as the original DVD on my 65in plasma. I've converted dozens of movies including Star Wars 1-6 (with the exception of 5, Empire Strikes Back) with no problems, but after 3 tries at Star Wars 5 (even borrowing one from a friend for a fourth attempt)... I get the same crappy results. The video plays at double speed and the sound is distorted.
Any ideas??? It makes no sense to me because Star Wars 4,5 and 6 were purchased together and 4 and 6 worked perfectly.
