Hey guys,
I got a question about subtitles...
When I add a SRT-Subtitle (clicking on "Import SRT" on the Subtitles-Tab) to a MKV-Container, Handbrake is converting this subtitle to an ASS-Subtile (Advanced SubStation Alpha). Is this correct?
Is there any way to stop Handbrake from converting the Subtitle from SRT to ASS and just add the SRT to the MKV-Container?
I would prefer SRT-subtitles because this makes me able to change the font-type, font-size and font-color at the time of the playback directly in VLC-player or Kodi.

Re: Subtitles SRT/ASS
Don't include the SRT while encoding with Handbrake, then use mkvmerge to add the SRT file to the mkv.soundlive wrote:Hey guys,
