I am new at this and possess a great deal of ignorance.
I am running Window7 pro 64 bit.
What I want to do is take a recorded (purchased) DVD and
convert it to an mp4 avi file so I can then Lift just a portion
of the conversion and burn it to another dvd. I have the
software to edit (clip) the mp4 and then burn it. When I
use Handbrake to convert to DVD to mp4 it plays very "jerky"
and distorted. One of your FAQ's says to use the large file option
which does not show up on my Handbrake screen. Can you
help? Thanks, Mike

Re: Poor Quality conversion
Large file support has been automatically incorporated into the way Handbrake writes MP4 files so you do not need to enable it manually.
