I have 1080i (I think) .ts source file, and I want to convert it to a 720p mp4. When I convert it with the settings I have now, in properties it's not 720p but it displays as 720p when played. How do I just make it all around 720p?

Use anamorphic none, then resize to 720p.

Thanks. It seemed to have worked, but it with a quick test it seems to increase the file size by 20%. Sorry if it's too much to ask, but can you explain what exactly that option does?

Anamorphic none just forces square pixels.

As it says at the top of every page in bold underlined red text on a pink background (I know, I know, so subtle and easy to miss), an activity log is required for all support requests.

ermm, you showed us a picture of the answer.
1280/960 = 1.33x more pixels.
