Subtitles not showing in Preview

I searched the forums and found no answers regarding subtitles showing or not showing in Preview.

Is not showing subtitles a default in HandBreak?

If not, then what am I doing wrong?

After encoding, the subtitles are not the language I selected.

According the scan, HandBrake is not seeing any subtitles. Could you post a MediaInfo report on this file?

Thank you for responding. Here is the MediaInfo for the file. What I was trying to do was add the subtitles to the movie. I added the corresponding .srt via the Subtitles tab and then tried to Preview the reencode to see if they were there, and they weren't.:

Umm, that's media info for the HandBrake output. We want to see mediainfo for your avi file to see whether mediainfo thinks there are subtitles in it.
